All Tied Up
I'm confident when I say I'm not the only one here who suffers from a case of bad hair day-isis on the reg. It's often a sweet combination of over styled, over heated and day three grease in my hair, when I realise I should have washed it the night before.
That's when it came to me...Whilst rewatching another episode Gossip Girl (when I should have being washing my hair), placed perfectly on the head of the Upper East Side's 'it girl', the bandana. An ode to golden goddess Serena Van Der Woodsen, I now have the perf solution to my hair laziness. I'm not going to claim the idea as my own BUT, whilst experimenting with the bandana I came across numerous stress-free ways to make it look like you have your life sorted, in the form of a bandana.
The Pony Tail
Style your locks into a pony tail and fasten with hair tie. Fold your bandana into a triangle shape and continue folding from the widest length, until the bandana is almost ribbon-like. Starting with the bandana underneath your pony tail, fasten with a single knot and allow the remaining fabric to drape either side of your pony.

The Top Knot
With a hair tie, secure your locks into a loose bun on the crown of your head. Fold your bandana into a triangle shape and continue folding from the widest length, until the bandana is almost ribbon-like. Place the bandana on top of your bun, wrap the fabric around your hair and fasten with a single or double knot. Allow any remaining fabric to drape either side of your pony.

The OG Bandana
Fold your bandana into a triangle shape and place the fabric on top of your head. Pull the bandana forward so approximately one inch of fabric covers your forehead. Secure either side of the bandana underneath your hair with a double knot.

Crown Wrapped Up Do
With a hair tie, secure your locks into a low bun. Fold your bandana into a triangle shape and continue folding from the widest length until the bandana is almost ribbon-like. Place the bandana on top of your head and secure with a single or double knot at the nape of your neck. If desired, pull the remaining fabric to a preferred side.

The Neck Scarf
Fold your bandana into a triangle shape and continue folding from the widest length until the bandana is almost ribbon-like. Tie the fabric around the side of your neck and secure with a double knot.
Tip: To prevent looking like a air hostess, style yours with a distressed white tee, boyfriend jeans and nude mules!

The Wrist Tie
To shake things up from your normal go-to accessories, channel your inner Carrie Bradshaw and opt for a bandana scarf. Fold your bandana into a square and continue folding until the bandana is almost ribbon-like. Tie the bandana in a double knot around your wrist and tuck in any remaining fabric.

The Loose Braid
Fold your bandana into a triangle shape and continue folding from the widest length until the bandana is almost ribbon-like. Hold the bandana in your hands whilst separating your hair into three strands of hair, including the bandana in two of the three strands. Braid your hair as usual and loosen the braid scarf before securing it.
